About the Expo

After a successful debut in Geneva, Eco Futures goes global. The Sustainable Living Expo brings together artists, community members, and changemakers to showcase how creativity can transform waste into meaningful, beautiful work and how art can lead to community development. This edition in Nigeria highlights local talent and hosts a special program for children from the WASSA IDP School.

WASSA IDP School Initiative Where Kids Are Artists

Children from the WASSA Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) School have taken part in an initiative where they teamed up with local artists and create unique pieces of art for the exhibition. These artworks will be on display and available for purchase during the event.
Why this matters: All proceeds from the sale of these pieces will be invested directly into WASSA IDP School to provide essential items and improvements such as including shoes, desks, chairs, benches, classroom supplies, and everyday support that helps these children learn comfortably and with dignity.
Support Local Artists Eco Futures will host a curated selection of local Nigerian artists as well who will be showcasing their own artwork. Purchasing artwork at the expo supports these local artists and motivates them to keep working as artists.

Why Eco Futures Nigeria Matters

When children are provided with basic learning essentials and opportunities for creative expression, the impact is both immediate and long-term. For many students at WASSA IDP School, everyday items such as shoes, reliable seating, and classroom furniture are not guaranteed. This lack of basic infrastructure makes learning harder.

By attending Eco Futures, purchasing artwork, or donating, you directly support:

  • Access to essential learning materials and classroom furniture.
  • Community-driven solutions that empower local leaders and families.
  • A visible example of how sustainability and art can create meaningful social change.

Every contribution whether large or small helps transform the immediate learning environment and invests in a brighter, more colorful future for these children. Art becomes more than an object it becomes a vehicle for dignity, opportunity, and hope.
