Ms. Vanessa Valerio brings extensive international experience, having worked in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. She began her career in the Travel and Tourism industry. However, today she serves as Head of Projects at the Geneva Graduate Institute and leads the Mobility and Biodiversity Task Force as part of the Institute’s Sustainability Initiative. Vanessa is committed to advancing sustainability and has driven meaningful progress in this area. Notably, she co-authored a Business Travel Research and Recommendation Report, leading to the implementation of a new travel policy at the Institute last year.

Dr. Manar Bani Mfarrej is an expert in Sustainability Sciences and Environmental Management, with extensive experience bridging academia and industry. She leads innovative research on sustainable solutions, including the application of nanoparticles, and has a proven track record of publishing in high-impact journals. Ms. Joan Bishio is an environmental sustainability practitioner with a strong background in climate and sustainability communications. Over the past three years, she has worked with organizations like Ecobarter and Clean Technology, developing strategic communications and advocacy campaigns focused on critical environmental issues such as plastic pollution, clean energy, clean cooking, recycling, sustainable entrepreneurship, climate fragility, and sustainable transportation. Additionally, Joan serves on the Youth Advisory Committee for the Netherlands Embassy in Nigeria, bringing the youth perspective to development issues in the country. Outside her professional pursuits, she enjoys reading and exploring new places, which enriches her understanding of environmental challenges worldwide.

Ms. Nouf AlQadi is an accomplished environmental scientist and passionate conservationist. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and is currently pursuing a PhD in Ecology and Environmental Science at UAE University. Since 2019, she has been an Animal Monitoring and Assessment Analyst at the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, where she leverages her expertise in biology and environmental management to drive sustainable development and biodiversity conservation. With a strong focus on animal behavior and habitat preservation, Nouf has published research on Socotra cormorants and actively engages in advanced environmental initiatives. Dedicated to promoting sustainability, she also explores innovative approaches like eco-friendly lifestyles, inspiring others to preserve the UAE's natural heritage for future generations.
