Programme Overview
GEAF Ambassador Programme 2027 by the Green Earth Action Foundation is a 6-month global initiative for individuals committed to taking action on environmental and climate challenges within their communities.
GEAF Ambassadors are selected through a detailed application process and, upon selection, become part of the GEAF Ambassador Cohort.
Through mentorship, capacity-building, and guided project implementation, GEAF Ambassadors design and lead locally relevant initiatives that respond to environmental challenges within their communities. Initiatives are fully-funded and implemented under the five key GEAF thematic areas: Waste Reduction & Pollution Prevention, Marine & Water Protection, Environmental Education & Community Empowerment, Climate-Smart Agriculture Advancement, and Forest & Biodiversity Protection.
GEAF Ambassadors are supported by the GEAF team throughout the journey, with training sessions contributed by experts. Past training sessions were delivered by representatives from ILO, IISD, CCC, SAIIA, UNEP, UNDP, WIPO, among others.
